This website is for me to blog about my experiences while studying abroad in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).  I want to share my experiences with my friends and family and I want to able to look back and see what I have done while abroad. I already keep a journal, so I figured, why not keep a blog!

I am a Business Administration major with a concentration in Human Resources and a minor in Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

I am active on my campus. I was the Vice President of Human Resources Management Association for a year term. I am still and will stay an active member of HRMA. I was a peer facilitator for Spartans Leading Spartans for a year. This organization allows student leaders to present workshops to fellow students on campus about topics such as conflict management, event planning, leadership skills, and much more. I was the co-philanthropy chair for the Zeta Kappa chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity. I helped the chapter raise $11,000 in one semester.

I am also very active in my community theatre, Lakeland Cultural Arts Center. I have acted, danced, and sang on-stage, as well as, worked as the light tech, sound tech, and assistant stage manager backstage. I have waitressed during performance dinners, answered the phone in the office, and have helped with fundraisers where ever needed.

I have traveled to Dublin, Ireland and London, England in the past. I want to travel abroad to every place I can. I want to try new things and have new experiences. I am excited to have this amazing opportunity!
