BounceInc.
This week has been eventfull but I think the biggest event was my day trip to BounceInc. with RUSU (RMIT Student Union). It was a free trip with free pizza! How could I possibly turn that down! I put together a video of my trip to BounceInc. and then below that are pictures of the rest of my week. :)
Free Pizza with RUSU!
After we went to BOUNCE Inc., we went to Mamma Mia's Pizza. They had basically opened the restaurant for us. The owners (who were from Italy) came and spoke with us too. We had so much pizza, but I joined the clean plate club. Their water "bottles" were beautiful. I almost took an empty one home with me. Haha!

Outdoors Club and BBQ!
I also went to the interest meeting for the Outdoors Club here at RMIT. They take multiple trips a week (Yes, a WEEK) to go rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, kayaking, caving, camping, rafting, and so much more. They do all this for cheap prices and they have super cheap gear hire for members. While I was there I ran in to Jodi!
Then the club had a BBQ afterwards for everyone to get to know each other.
They also set up a simulation of caving with crates. They said that if you could get through those, then you could get through the hardest caves you will experience with the Outdoors Club. One of the group leaders showed us how to do it.

Randomness
The rest of this week has been studying, writing essays, classes, working out, cooking and running errands. Typical, boring daily stuff, but I am me and nothing can be typical can it?
So when I cook, I pretend that I am an amazing chef in a huge kitchen of a 5 star restaurant. I turn on my music, pull out all of my materials and get to cookin' with flare. After all of that work...I end up with a simple plate of fried chicken and asparagus.
***By the way...I only have a stove top and a microwave. I do not have an oven :( If anyone has any amazing recipies for just a microwave or stovetop that they would like to share, it would be much appreciated. :)
There is a road by my apartment that I have to cross almost every day. It is 6 lanes of car traffic and two lanes of tram traffic long! It looks like a game of Frogger and sometimes I wonder if I am as skilled physically and mentally in real life as I am when I am playing Frogger. I have yet to put this theory to the test though...I will keep you updated on my progress.
I went to the Winter Festival at the Queens Victoria Market and it was a little dissapointing. It wasn't as big and packed as I had hoped. However, since it was a festival with a bunch of vendors (things from jewelry to puppets to food), I decided to play scavenger hunt. I made a list of random items that I challenged myself to find in the midst of the crowd. I was doing pretty good (7 out of 10 items!) when I got side tracked. I saw a pretzel stand (and thought of my mommy!). As I got closer to this pretzel stand I realized that they were fresh specialty pretzels. I of course had to buy the one that was filled, covered, and sprinkled with chocolate!
